For stable pets (NOT requiring extensive supportive care or hospitalization), we recommend scheduling an ultrasound through BYVH.
We utilize MOVES, a mobile specialty and referral service where a board-certified internal medicine specialist travels to our hospital to perform the ultrasound. Your pet is dropped off at BYVH and comprehensive imaging, additional diagnostics (if needed), and recommendations are made by the internist and then relayed to your veterinarian at BYVH. Please call us to schedule an appointment.

*VDIC operates out of the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin (EVCOT)
Please keep in mind that this is an outpatient ultrasound with a brief discussion with a board-certified radiologist about findings. This appointment is only for diagnostic purposes and is not to have a lengthy discussion about your pet's case and ongoing treatment. Ongoing care will be determined by the referring veterinarian at Brooklyn Yard Veterinary Hospital once the ultrasound report and findings are received. This could take around 24 hours.
For pets requiring more intensive supportive care/are sick or require hospitalization, admission through the emergency department and a referral is typically required.
